Easter is the one of the most important annual religious feast in the Christian. One of the favorite activity in Easter we can't afford to miss is of course-egg decoration. However, once you have lay the painting on the egg, there's no turning back. Thanks to this little funny app created by bbonz, your Easter will full of color.




It allows you to decorate your own virtual egg with a lot of add-ons and freehand drawing. So you won't end up wasting lots of eggs with no satisfactory results.

USE
After launching the app, you'll see a "normal" egg. Then expand your imagination and show off your creativity!

Menu
The first menu page shows the tool you'll need. From left:

• quit
• reset everything
• about
• colors (here you can select freehand color and thickness)
• freehand drawing (when selected, other menu items are disabled)
• reset freehand drawing
• Inside the tray there are a lot of graphic items: slide the tray with arrows to see and use them
  

Items
There are a lot of items you can use:

• egg skins to give your egg a stilish look
• noses
• eyes
• masks
• ears
• wings
  

You can use them combined with freehand drawings, or alone, or you can decide to use only freehand: everything is up to you.

MEaster Egg v1.0-decorate your own Easter egg

We have Jailbreak for iPhone, rooting for Android and it seems that Windows Phone 7 Series has also joined the party of "unlocking". Of course this means unlocking the WP7S emulator as the OS is still not available in tha market. When the first release of the specs of WP7S, it's predicted to have this day coming but didn't expect to be so fast. Even faster than the official release of the OS itself.



By unlocking WP7S, it reveals more of the preproduction OS Microsoft trying to hide from us. Users can have lot more feature to play with. That is-file explorer, task manager and so on. Anyhow, this ROM is still in a very early work and by unlocking this emulator doesn't mean we can do the same in the final product. At the mean time, just have fun with it.

The official release of Windows Phone 7 Series will be in this coming holiday 2010. However there have already been few release of WP7S theme out there to give you a glimpse of WP7S.


Now, Windows Phone 7 emulator is available for you to play around in your PC. So you can get to know better how this new OS functions. Just go ahead and install the software to get this emulator working.

Taking advantage of the build-in compass of the HD2, 6Fg8 from XDA-Developers, the creator of PowerRadio has created an app that turn your HD2 to a metal detector. Using the concept of the earth's magnetic field, this app can detect and calculate the deviation from magnetic north and hence detect the presence of metal.



Current status of this app:
All gauges are fully functional. Clicking sound and vibration working too. You may turn them on/off using the corresponding buttons on the left.
To exit the app, use the lower right button.

The camera button has a new meaning as of v0.2.0.0:
It enables a test mode, where sensor readings are simulated. Use the sliders to advance the main/aux gauges

Instruction:

Before starting this app, place your device flat on a surface and then run the app. The gauge should show zero and if it doesnt, take your device and write a couple of "eights" in the air (this is to get rid of magnetism which might get stuck in the sensors). Then use a pair of scissor or something the like and move it slowly to the right side of your device. At a distance of approx. 5 cm. the gauge should start to move. Take your device and move it with its right side near metals and see if the gauge shows values.

Metal detector - v0.2.0.0-Use your HD2 as the metal detector

PVD or Personal Video Database is the very best program to organize your movies or to catalogue your video collection. MobilePVD v2.0 is a Windows Phone version of PVD created by Obelix_A from xda-developer. Now you can arrange your movie collection in a well-organized order and sort it out fast and easy



How it works
First of all, you have to get PVD and enter your movies. After that, make a XML export. This writes a file containing the movie information and a directory containing the pictures. Take both and copy them onto your device. It is recommended to copy them onto the SD card in a sub directory PVD.

Download mobilePVD and install it on your device. When starting, you will have to select the XML file by clicking Menu->Open DB. You can also select other languages and other skins (if someone makes them ).

When going to a sublist in mobilePVD (i.e. viewing the movie details or selecting directories) and you want to get back, just slide with your finger over the list from left to right...
